Our main topic is how the media doesn't cover immigration as much as it should. In other words, the media focuses on garbage such as how much J.Lo spent on her twins' nursery. It focuses on garbage. It only focuses on certain issues that they think will get a certain group to watch. They only target a certain audience.

Our solution to this problem is to have a press conference that will be taking place on June 12,2008. It's our turn to finally let our voices be heard. We're young, but we have a say in some issues, too.

This press conference is so big to us at RLLA. Not every day do you get to hear about young people trying to make a change. Every day you hear about Fernando or Lavon getting locked up because of drugs or a weapon. When we do protest about something good, we never hear about it. Media is always putting us young people down and making us seem so negative. Well, not on June 12th. It's time for someone to stand up, right? This time, it's us students here at Rudy Lozano. We can make a change!!!!!!
